Child friendly restaurants

A large percentage of restaurants in Umbria and most of Italy are very welcoming to children.  You can often find your little ones being entertained by the owners to be looked after so that you can have your meal in relative peace.  Many of our guests have had children dine with the owners in the kitchen and probably spoilt rotten too.  Below are some of the restaurants with play areas that are great for the children and also have good food.  Beware that most will not provide pizzas at lunchtimes and tend to open at 19:00 / 19:30 in the evening so you may want to keep your children on UK time.

Trilogy, Fosse del Diavolo

This is a good Italian restaurant frequented by locals from Perugia and touring foreigners.  There is a huge enclosed play area with slides, swings, roundabouts, climbing frames etc.  you can ask for a table near the play area to be able to enjoy your meal whilst watching your children.   It serves good food at a reasonable price.  The pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven and are wonderful, the meats are excellent.  Later in the evening there is music and dancing.

Open 7 days a week from 19:00 onwards.  Not open at lunch time.
